The company owns hundreds of large-scale mechanical manufacturing equipment including TK6926 large CNC floor boring machines, double-column boring machines, German gantry milling machines, large vertical lathes, automated processing production lines for shaft and disc parts, automated welding production lines, etc., making the company one of the enterprises with strong machining capabilities in the industry. The main products include bucket wheel stacker reclaimers, circular yard stacker reclaimers, scraper reclaimers, rotary drum mixers, large urban waste treatment equipment, sewage treatment equipment, port equipment, and complete sets of power transmission and transformation equipment.
In 1978, the company produced the first domestic medium-sized bucket wheel stacker reclaimer KDQ6025 for handling heavy bulk materials. Over 40 years, more than 2,000 bucket wheel machines of various specifications and models have been produced, with a market share leading peers. In 2008, it developed a large urban waste treatment system capable of processing 500 tons of household waste per day, used in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. In 2018, in cooperation with Southwest Jiaotong University, it developed and produced the KY-18 type railway overhead safety protection equipment, filling a gap in the international railway overhead engineering protection equipment field. In 2020, together with Northeastern University, it jointly established the Northeastern University Changzhong Intelligent Technology Industry Research Institute and Dongda Changzhong Intelligent Technology Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd., laying the foundation for promoting the development of intelligent manufacturing technology and equipment industry.
