As the enterprise's R&D base, the company's Technology Center places great emphasis on technological advancement and talent team building. By absorbing advanced foreign technologies and adopting advanced design and analysis software, it has established a modern scientific and technological R&D platform that integrates digitalization, standardization, visualization, and computational analysis of leading products, enhancing the design capability, level, and quality of leading products, achieving a transformative upgrade of core technologies. By introducing academic leaders with high academic standards and strong research capabilities and cooperating technologically with domestic and foreign universities, research institutions, and overseas companies, high-level design and R&D work is carried out, expanding the derivative industrial scope of leading products, developing new technologies and products with future development potential, improving the company's technological innovation and competitiveness, and opening broad space for product upgrades.
After more than fifty years of accumulation, the company has a strong and capable professional technical team, forming a technology R&D system focused on bulk material handling equipment, metallurgical machinery equipment, environmental protection equipment, electrical automation control, wind power components, large non-standard equipment processing, parts, and technical upgrade and transformation services. It has become a provincial-level technology center in Hunan Province, owns over a hundred valid intellectual property rights, and possesses strong independent R&D capabilities for major technical equipment.
The company serves as the vice chairman unit of the Bulk Material Handling Machinery and Transport Vehicles Branch of the China Heavy Machinery Association, a member of the Continuous Conveying Technology Committee of the China Heavy Machinery Association, and a member of the National Continuous Handling Machinery Standardization Technical Committee. The company emphasizes cooperation with domestic and foreign universities and research institutes, inviting relevant scholars and experts to provide technical support for enterprise development and product R&D; it has established long-term industry-university-research strategic partnerships with key universities such as Northeastern University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Central South University, and Hunan University, and has successfully obtained multiple invention achievements.
In the overall design calculation, computer-aided design is used to optimize the overall balance of the machine and the coordinate positions of the main load-bearing points, ensuring that the machine's center of gravity and overall stability reach ideal states. The main load-bearing steel structure of the bucket wheel machine adopts box-type, stable mesh, or lattice girder structures, and its structural parameters are analyzed and calculated using finite element dynamic and static analysis programs such as Solidworks, Ansys, and Nastran.
