At a critical moment when production tasks are heavy and product delivery is at its peak, Just after 1 p.m. on August 6th, Huang Hailan, Vice Chairman of the Changsha Federation of Trade Unions, along with Technical Association Director Yan Chunqing and Veteran Cadre Office Director Zhou Ying, braved the scorching sun and brought "cooling" supplies to Hunan Changzhong Machinery Co., Ltd. to visit and comfort the frontline production employees.

By July, Changsha, known as the 'City of Fire,' had already entered a period of low rainfall and high temperatures. As a large-scale equipment manufacturing enterprise, —Changzhong Machinery Company, orders have been full and production tasks heavy since the beginning of the year. Frontline employees, mainly engaged in welding and processing, deal with steel every day. During the hot season, especially at noon, the workshop temperature stays around 40°C. After a busy day, the sweat-soaked work clothes never dry. To ensure production safety and improve efficiency, the company’s trade union began in mid-July to negotiate with the administration to extend the frontline workers’ lunch break by half an hour, and organized the purchase of some heatstroke prevention medicines, brewed herbal tea, and distributed refrigerators, launching the company’s "Cooling Delivery" initiative.

As the employees’ supportive family, —the Changsha Federation of Trade Unions always keeps in mind the industrial workers fighting on the production frontlines. Facing the intense heat, leaders at all levels of the city’s trade union carried out the citywide "Cooling Delivery" campaign across enterprises and key projects. Upon arrival at the company, Chairman Huang and his team, after briefly listening to the work report from the company trade union chairman and deputy general manager Yan Yuming, immediately went to the vehicle carrying the "cooling" supplies. Together with the loaders, they moved the supplies, personally delivering 220 bags of mung beans and 80 bags of sugar to the frontline workshops, allowing the frontline workers to deeply feel the sincere care and heartfelt concern from the higher-level trade union organization.
