( 2 ) Project Nature: New Construction (Re-approval)
( 3 ) Proposed Location: Kaifu District, Changsha City
( 4 ) Project Overview: The proposed project is located within the Jinxia Operation Area of Changsha Port, on the right bank of the Xiangjiang main channel, northeast to Xinkang Avenue, northwest to Sha River, southwest near Xiangjiang River, and southeast is undeveloped land. This project will newly build 2000 ton-level (structure also accommodates 3000 ton-level) general-purpose berths 2 units, berth length 225m , mainly transporting steel raw materials (including coil plates), large heavy product equipment, throughput 115 ten thousand tons, handling capacity 155 ten thousand tons, port area covers 53 mu, construction period 25 months, total project investment 20391.95 ten thousand yuan.
( 5 ) Description of Environmental Impact of Construction Project: During construction, construction machinery noise and dust may cause certain adverse effects on the surrounding environment, and construction land occupation will cause short-term adverse effects on the surrounding ecological environment. ； The main adverse impacts during operation are ship noise and ship exhaust gas pollution. After taking reasonable prevention and control measures, the above impacts can be minimized, and the ecological environment can be effectively restored and compensated.
